It’s another day, another viral moment out of Florida, and this one has people in Ohio rolling their eyes so hard they might need a break. A TikTok clip making the rounds has viewers equal parts confused and annoyed after a man from the Sunshine State decided to air out some wildly unnecessary opinions while strolling through an airport.

So here’s the setup. The TikTok video, posted by @sooshalt, shows this guy casually walking through an airport like he’s about to drop some deep life wisdom. Instead? He launches into a full-blown rant about Ohio and the people who live there. Not exactly the travel content anyone asked for. And definitely not the vibe.

Right out of the gate, the Florida man hits viewers with a line that feels tailor-made to stir the pot: if you’re ever feeling unattractive, just take a trip to Ohio. Bold strategy, man. Bold, and not in a good way. He goes on to claim that during his four-day stay, he didn’t come across anyone he found appealing, calling people “sub-five” and throwing around insults like they’re part of the in-flight snack service. Oh, and in case you’re wondering, he insists he’s “not trying to be offensive.” Sure.

TikTok reacts To Florida Man’s Odd Ohio Hate

Naturally, the internet did what it does best, clapped back. The comment section turned into an all-out roast session, with users lining up to return the energy. One person flipped the script, joking that if you’re feeling “spiritually void” or overly focused on superficial things, maybe Miami is the place to go instead. Another commenter didn’t miss a beat, suggesting the guy might secretly be from Ohio himself. And then there were the Ohio natives chiming in, basically saying, yeah, we’re more than happy for you to leave. But the comment that really stuck? “If Ohio’s population is so ugly, you should feel right at home.” Ouch. That one landed.

And just when you think he might dial it back, he doubles down. He keeps insisting he’s just “making an observation,” adding that people in Ohio are slower and less attractive. He even admits he’s “bias” because he’s from Miami, which, honestly, explains a lot. Not in a flattering way, either.

Look, everyone’s entitled to their opinions. But there’s a difference between having a preference and going out of your way to insult an entire state full of people. This wasn’t some harmless joke, it came off more like someone trying way too hard to feel superior for no real reason. And social media picked up on that immediately.

At the end of the day, the whole thing says more about him than it does about Ohio. Confidence is one thing, but this? This was just plain arrogance dressed up as commentary. Hopefully, he takes a second to reflect, because acting like that, whether you’re in Florida or anywhere else, isn’t exactly a winning look. And if nothing else, the internet made one thing clear: if you’re going to throw shots like that, be ready for them to come flying right back.
