Homeless California Man Leaves TikTok Stunned With Bizarre Billboard Encounter: ‘You’re in His Living Room’
California is a fairly large state, with a good-sized population. Now, with that being said, homeless people make up a fraction of that population, and they can be seen in various spots around the state. Take this recently posted TikTok video, for example. The clip has around 100K likes and 1.4 million views as viewers see a homeless Sacramento man taking a shower on top of a billboard. Social media users seemingly can’t get enough of the clip either, as the video continues to do well online.
The TikTok video would then start off with the person recording sitting inside of their vehicle as they are stopped in traffic. However, they then begin to pan the camera over to their left to show what is happening on the side of the road. Viewers are then struck with the sight of an almost naked homeless man, excluding his underwear. Yet, that may not be the strangest part of this encounter. The California man is also standing on top of a billboard as he gives himself a quick shower.
TikTok Reacts To Homeless California Man’s Roadside Shower
Unfortunately, the clip has music blaring over the entire encounter, so viewers can not hear what the homeless man was saying while he was cleaning himself. However, he can be seen yelling at cars and pedestrians alike, and even yelling into his bar of soap. Around the man, users can also see some more items, like a speeding bag among other things. It would seem as though the man sleeps on the sign as well as showers there.
The TikTok comment section also had a lot on their mind regarding this man, as many users would rush to leave behind their own thoughts and jokes. “Some days I just feel like quitting my job and doing this. Looks so peaceful,” wrote one. Another pointed out, “The sign said to elevate your experience.” A different commenter also said, “Ah, Sacramento, where the rich and poor really live on opposite sides of the street.” Finally, one last person’s comment also read, “You’re in his living room, though.”
Sadly, the TikTok video would then come to an end following the California man beginning to yell at his soap. The person recording was seemingly forced to stop due to the flow of traffic. At the end of the day, this was certainly a strange encounter. However, hopefully, that homeless California man is able to get whatever help he needs to get back on his feet.
