Lisa Marie Presley Shares Memory of Benjamin Keough On The 2-Year Anniversary Of His Death

Lisa Marie Presley took to Instagram to share a loving and beautiful memory of her late son Benjamin Storm Keough. This is a difficult day for the only daughter of the King of Rock and Roll legend Elvis Presley.

It has been two years since Lisa Marie Presley lost her only son. Yet, Presley reveals the pain never gets easier. She admits that there is not one day that she does not miss and mourn the loss of her beloved son Benjamin.

Lisa Marie Presley Recalls Special Mother & Son Bond

The 54-year-old mother of four has a hard couple of months ahead of her. Not only is she continuing to mourn the loss of her only son, but  August 16will also marks the 45th anniversary of her father’s death, Elvis Presley.

Today, Lisa took to social media to share a photo that means a lot to her. The pictures reveal Lisa’s and Benjamin’s bare tattooed feet. Presley captions the photo: “Several years ago on Mother’s Day, my son and I got these matching tattoos on our feet. It is a Celtic eternity knot. Symbolizing that we will be connected eternally. We carefully picked it to represent our eternal love and our eternal bond.”

Benjamin Keough’s Death 

Presley reveals she will never fill the hole in her heart that her son left with his passing. Lisa is the mother of three daughters, Riley Keough, 33, with ex-Danny Keough, and  13-year-old twin daughters, Finley and Harper Lockwood, with ex-Michael Lockwood.

Lisa says as long as she lives, she will never forget that dark July 12, 2020, when her son Benjamin left this world. Sadly, Benjamin Storm Keough died at 27 from a self-inflicted gunshot. Presley is not the only heartbroken member of her family to pay tribute to Benjamin’spassing.

Riley Keough also took to Instagram to pay her respects to Benjamin. She writes, “Not an hour goes by where I don’t think about you and miss you. It’s been two years today since you left, and I still can’t believe you’re not here. You are so loved, my Ben Ben.”

A Few Happy Moments Among The Sadness

Lisa usually prefers to keep a low public profile. However, due to the release of  Director Baz Luhrmann’s biopic, ‘Elvis’ Lisa has been spotted out celebrating the film’s success.

In June, Lisa Marie shared her thoughts on the new biopic film portraying her father, Elvis Presley. “Let me tell you that it is nothing short of spectacular. Absolutely exquisite,” stated Lisa. The proud offspring of the late King raved about the film on social media.

Lisa Reveals Entire Family Is Proud Of The Film

Lisa reveals her only regret. She says she loves that everyone is celebrating her father. However, it is sad because her son isn’t there to see it, Presley says she knows he would have loved it as well.

Elvis fans can’t get enough of the film, Thanks to fans, and its popularity the movie has made more than $155 million globally. Lisa Marie and Elvis fans continue flooding Lisa’s social media pages sending her and her family words of sympathy, understanding, and kindness on this tough day.
